DASH-D CDC’s Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) has created the DASH Training Network, or “D-Train,” a national cadre of master trainers to provide workshops on how to use DASH school health tools. Hamilton Fish Institute at George Washington University and the Center for Classroom Teaching and Learning, NW Regional Educational Laboratory Resources, tools, and guidance for creating safe school settings and involving the community in supporting students of all ages.  Among this series, Fostering School, Family, and Community Involvement, provides an overview of the nature and scope of collaboration, explores barriers to effectively working together, and discusses the processes of establishing and sustaining the work.
